Kimetrica, an international consulting firm, collaborated with the World Bank and the Somaliland Ministry of Planning to carry out two large-scale national surveys: the National Household Living Standards Survey (designed to measure consumption poverty) and the Enterprise Survey (as part of the "Doing Business in Somaliland" initiative). IRADA was engaged to support the implementation of these studies by undertaking various tasks. Specifically, for the Household Living Standards Survey (focused on measuring consumption and poverty), IRADA's responsibilities included:
•Reviewing and Contextualizing Survey Tools: Ensuring the tools were adapted to the local context.
• Field Quality Control: Supervising data collection to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Organizing Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Meetings: Arranging interactions with business leaders and stakeholders.
