Dr. Mbeche is a highly experienced Senior Researcher and Lead Consultant with over 20 years of expertise in research, project implementation, and evaluation. He holds a Doctorate in Knowledge Integration from the Centre for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, Germany, where he specialized in interdisciplinary approaches to development. Dr. Mbeche also holds a Master of Science degree in Rural Development from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Uppsala, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mbeche has contributed significantly to international research organizations, including FARM-Africa Kenya, the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) Kenya, and the Centre for Development Research at the University of Bonn, Germany. He has successfully led and managed numerous research projects, with a focus on sustainable development, agriculture, rural livelihoods, and environmental resilience.
Dr. Mbeche’s expertise spans both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and he is highly skilled in designing and implementing comprehensive research frameworks, conducting evaluations, and providing actionable insights that inform policy and programmatic decisions. His leadership in project implementation and evaluation has consistently led to impactful, evidence-based solutions in the fields of agricultural development, ecosystem management, and community-based resilience.
